How you get updates

Where new versions of Neutrino live, how you find out one exists, and what the day after your update window ends actually looks like.

New versions of Neutrino are delivered as files, from a download page you unlock with your license key. The page lists the versions your license covers, newest first. Older versions stay listed; you are never forced onto a newer one.

Releases are announced by email to customers whose update window is open. There is no in-theme update notice, no admin banner and no background check — the theme running on your site does not know or care that a new version exists, and never contacts us.

Ongoing subscribers can opt into having updates installed for them automatically, which removes the download-and-upload step entirely. It is optional, it involves handing over a credential for your site, and it deserves reading about properly before you enable it.
