Neutrino builds its header menu and its footer site map from Ghost's two ordinary navigation lists — and gives both a second level, which Ghost's own editor has no field for. In the header a top-level item with children becomes a fly-out menu; in the footer the same structure renders as grouped columns, so a long site map reads as sections rather than as one undifferentiated list. On phones the fly-outs become an accordion inside the burger menu.

Several parts of the header look after themselves. It measures whatever is behind it and flips its text between black and white so it stays legible over any hero image. When the menu has more items than fit, the row scrolls sideways with a soft fade on whichever edge has hidden items, rather than wrapping into a second line and changing the header's height. And two items appear on their own terms: a search control, always, and an Account link, only for readers who are signed in.

You also choose where the menu sits — right, centred, or left — and the left option moves the logo to the middle of the header, which is the way to centre a logo in this theme.
