Newsletter

Neutrino puts a newsletter signup form in the footer of every page. It is a single email field and a button, and it subscribes readers without taking them anywhere — the form shows a loader, then a confirmation, and the reader carries on with whatever they were reading.

It knows when not to appear. A reader who is already signed in as a member has, by definition, already subscribed, so the form removes itself for them and the footer re-flows so the remaining elements take up the space rather than leaving a gap where it was. To run a Neutrino site with no newsletter at all, turn Members off in Ghost — that is the switch that removes the form.

The form is the visible surface of Ghost's own newsletter system. Everything behind it — the newsletters themselves, sending, subscriber management, segmentation — is Ghost's, configured in Ghost's own settings, and works the same way on any theme.
