A wrapper for third-party embeds — testimonial walls, booking calendars, forms, maps, dashboards — that can cap a very tall widget and offer readers a Show all button instead of an endless scroll.
New features
- A container for third-party embeds. Paste a widget's snippet from a testimonial service, a booking calendar, a form builder, a map or a dashboard, and wrap it to control how it sits on the page — across the normal content width, wider, or edge to edge.
- Very tall widgets can be capped, with a Show all button. Some embedded widgets have no height limit of their own: a wall of testimonials renders every single one, which can run to several screens. The container can cut it off at a sensible height, fade the edge, and offer a button that expands it in place and collapses it again. Readers who want the rest press it; everyone else carries on down the page.
- A fixed height with its own scrollbar, or a fixed shape such as widescreen, for widgets that should always occupy the same proportions.
- A clamp for widgets that spill sideways out of their box.
The button only appears when it has something to reveal. A widget shorter than the cap gets no button, no fade and no cut — which is the common case, not the exception.
Ordinary embeds still need none of this. Neutrino already makes videos, maps and most widgets fill the width they are given; this container is for the cases where height is the problem.
