Three fixes to the menu on phones — an expanded section could come out in the wrong colour, the menu stopped short of newer browser toolbars, and its text could be hard to read over a pale background.

Bug fixes

  • Expanding a menu section on a phone could render that section — its heading and the links beneath it — in the wrong colour, so it came out dark against a dark menu while every other item stayed readable. It now matches the rest of the menu whatever your hero image looks like.

  • On iOS 26, Safari's address bar floats over the page rather than sitting below it, and the open menu stopped just short of it — leaving a band of the page visible underneath. The menu now continues behind the address bar.

  • Menu text could be hard to read where the blurred background behind it was pale, which was most noticeable at the top of a page. The menu now holds a consistent contrast against whatever is behind it, and every item meets the accessibility standard for its text size. On lighter backgrounds the menu is a little deeper in tone than before as a result.
