Corner style — Rounded, Pill or Angular. One setting re-shapes every button, card, image frame and input on the site.

New features

  • Corner style — Rounded, Pill or Angular. One setting re-shapes every button, card, image frame and input on the site. Rounded is the theme as designed; pill exaggerates the curves; angular removes them. See Corner style.

  • More control over cover images. Images can now be rendered at a percentage of their full size so the page background shows around them, and framed against quarter lines as well as thirds — with different framing for landscape and portrait screens.

  • A one-click import for the whole set of cover-image framing options, so you do not create them by hand. See Hero images.

Bug fixes

  • Cover images were very slightly misaligned against the screen, which shifted every vertical framing choice.

  • Full-width cards could force the whole page to scroll sideways on phones.

  • A fixed cover image showed through gaps between content blocks on short posts.

  • Empty "In:" and "read" labels appeared on posts with no category or no content.

  • Spacing around dividers, headings and large quotes was inconsistent.

  • The comments heading did not match the theme's type scale, and its count wrapped awkwardly on phones.

Under-the-hood improvements

  • The footer's subscribe and social row was overhauled: signed-in members no longer see an empty gap where the form was, and the icon row now sits flush at every screen size.
